"Live life in the fast lane with the XPERIA™ X2 from Sony Ericsson. Designed for those who always need to be connected, whether it’s for business or personal life, the XPERIA™ X2 blurs the boundary between work and play"The design of the phone was nice, and the specs looked also very nice. I was looking for a business-phone that had a physical QWERTY-keyboard that i could use to manage my e-mails, ssh-connections to servers i maintain etc. etc. Also the battery/standby-time looked perfect to me:
Reading more on the press-release revealed to me that the phone was running on Windows Mobile® 6.5. This was something that I til now could not understand why Sony Ericsson released this great piece of hardware with a bloated operating-system inside.
- Talk time GSM: Up to 10 hrs
- Standby time GSM: Up to 500 hrs
- Talk time UMTS: Up to 6hrs
- Standby time UMTS: Up to 640hrs
- Music listening time: Up to 20hrs
I will start to write down all issues and problems that i have had with this phone til now. Maybe you already know that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 had some serious issues, like data-loss on the data saved on the memory-card!!!
So stay tuned, and follow the horrible bumpy road i have had with this phone thil now!
Nice work, everyone who has in mind buying SE's products deserves to know what kind of company really is.
ReplyDeleteFor them, it wasn't enough to release a phone with the worse software i've ever seen, they prefered to discontinue the phone instead of fixing it, only 6 months after the release date!!!, making a 600€ phone become rubbish.
lol i paid 50 dollars and i think its great :D
ReplyDeleteIf you really paid 50 dollars for that phone, then it's absolutely to much for a phone that old. I paid around 750 dollars (just calculated with the current exchangerate between Euro and USD), and that's definitively not ok for a "High-end phone"
